ADA-DP-SCF004 Profibus Interface Connectors / Adapter The PROFIBUS interface connector ADA-DP-SCF004 is the ideal solution for demanding PROFIBUS networks with transmission rates of up to 12 Mbit/s. Thanks to its extremely compact metal housing (only 32 × 50 mm), it is one of the smallest PROFIBUS connectors available worldwide and is perfectly suited for installations where space is limited. The galvanised ZnAl housing with high-quality shielding ensures excellent interference immunity and reliable data transmission – even at maximum data rates and under harsh industrial conditions. A key feature is the integrated termination resistor, which can be conveniently activated via a slide switch. When activated, the outgoing bus segment is automatically disabled – enabling safe and error-free commissioning segment by segment.

The ADA-DP-SCF004 is suitable for all standard PROFIBUS cables (Type A and B) with an outer diameter of 6 to 8 mm and supports both solid and stranded conductors. Installation is quick and straightforward: strip the cable, insert the conductors, tighten the screws – done.
